Valerie Nishiguchi
{Costume Technician and Designer}
Valerie Nishiguchi has long been enraptured by the magic of theatre and a needle and thread. A love of the whole process of costuming has led her to hone her skills as a technician and a designer. She loves the collaborative journey each show takes whether in the position of the technician or the designer.
She has worked as a costume shop manager, costume designer, assistant costume designer, wardrobe supervisor, draper and stitcher for places such as the University of Utah, Pioneer Theatre Company (Salt Lake City), Salt Lake Shakespeare, The Classical Greek Theatre Festival (Salt Lake City), and the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
